V (The Visitors)

The Visitors are an extraterrestrial race of reptilian humanoids outwardly appearing to be much like Earth's homo sapiens, revealed to be reptilians covering their bodies in cloned human flesh. They are often referred to by the shortened slang term of just "the V's". The actual name of their species as they call themselves in their native language is thus far unknown.
The world woke up to find spaceships over every major city. The Visitors claim to have come in peace, bringing gifts of medical miracles and technological breakthroughs. They promise to do no harm...
Most people believe the aliens have arrived just when they needed them most. They are eager to embrace their generous offers of help, but while tracking a terrorist cell, Homeland Security agent Erica Evans stumbles upon something far more sinister. Erica discovers that the aliens have plans to infiltrate the governments and businesses, planting seeds for their plot to control mankind. Convincing anyone of the truth will be impossible because the Visitors have two powerful weapons. First, they've given the people faith with their reassuring presence and gifts. Second, they've rallied people's youth. Thousands of teens, including Erica's son, have been recruited as 'Peace Ambassadors' but they're actually serving as unwitting spies. When Erica gets thrust into the resistance movement, she'll have to balance her covert activities with her job and her role as a mother, fighting to protect her son Tyler - even as he joins forces with the enemy.

4400- the forty-four hundred

Over the course of 50 years, fourty-four hundred people ,who previously presumed dead or reported missing,seemingly vanish under mysterious circumstances -- and just as mysteriously re-emerge one day, all at once. Not only have all these people returned not looking a day older than when they left, many have developed remarkable physical and psychic powers while they were gone. So what happened, and what does it mean for those who have to live with the returned?A government agency is formed to track the 4,400 people after one of them commits a murder. Each week, a new 4400 story is told and we learn of new powers given to these people who supposedly come from the future.

The pilot begins with a ball of light sailing towards Earth, but rather than the expected catastrophic event, thousands of returned abductees are left with no memory of their otherworldly experiences. Each has been gone anywhere from a few months to several decades, but hasn't aged a day. These are the stories of the 4400 abductees after they are returned to Earth. The show follows two NSA agents who are trying to figure out what happened and why. Some of those returned have been affected in mysterious ways with certain abilities, both good and bad.

4400- the forty-four hundred

Βέβαια το πιο περίεργο από όλα είναι ότι κανένας τους δεν είχε μεγαλώσει ούτε μέρα ήταν σαν να είχαν εξαφανιστεί την προηγούμενη μέρα.

Φυσικά, δεν ήταν έτσι για τους συγγενείς τους, πόσο μάλλον για τα ΜΜΕ και τις κυβερνήσεις, οι οποίες δημιούργησαν νέα πολιτική ειδικά για την αντιμετώπισή τους, την επανένταξή τους και την προστασία τους.

Σύντομα μετά την άφιξή τους, κάποιοι από αυτούς παρατήρησαν ότι γύρισαν με ειδικές δυνάμεις. Με την ικανότητα της θεραπείας, την πρόβλεψη του μέλλοντος, την τηλεπάθεια, την τηλεκίνηση και πολλές άλλες.

Αυτό τους κατέστησε «κίνδυνο» για τους υπόλοιπους, οι οποίοι αισθάνονταν ότι απειλούνται από αυτούς. Εδώ είναι που δημιουργούνται τα προβλήματα, μαζί με το γεγονός ότι κανείς δεν ξέρει ακριβώς από πού ήρθαν και γιατί.

Terra Nova

• In 2149, earth is nearly wrecked by pollution. Police detective Jim Shannon is jailed for illegally raising an extra child, Zoe. He's sprung from jail just in time to join his family on the latest 'pilgrimage', through a unique time-space-continuum rip, to Terra Nova, a colony run with modern technology in a dino age forest. Colony commander Nathaniel Taylor soon recruits as security professional Jim, who gradually finds out about some threats, notably from Saurian monsters, the 'sixers' and his own, bitterly estranged son Lucas. Meanwhile Jim's son Josh keeps getting into trouble, mainly due to his girlfriend Skye. His smart sister Maddy is in love with gentleman soldier Mark Reynolds.
• The series is initially set in 2149, a time when overpopulation and declining air quality worldwide threatens all life on Earth. After scientists discover a rift in spacetime, they begin sending people in a series of "pilgrimages" 85 million years into Earth's Cretaceous past, to a different "time stream".The series focuses primarily on the lives of the Shannon family (Jim, his wife Elisabeth, and their three children Josh, Maddy, and Zoe) as they join the Terra Nova colony in the prehistoric past.The phrase "Terra Nova" means "New Earth" or "New World" in Latin.Because not every human from the future can be brought to the new colony of the past, the process for selecting chosen individuals was highly competitive; based on status of ability. Elisabeth Shannon is chosen for her skills as a doctor, and her children brought along with her. Her husband, imprisoned for violating a sustainability law (breaking a regulation on population control by harbouring a third child) and assaulting an agent (trying to protect his young daughter), was not allowed to join his family, but stows away. He is caught, but eventually convinces Commander Taylor that his skills as a cop may be useful for the safety of the colony and as protection to the colony administration. The colony is said to be set up with the intention of "a new beginning" for humanity, with emphasis on being Earth-responsible.Opposing the colony and its leader, Commander Nathaniel Taylor, is a group of separatists known as the "Sixers", so called because they arrived in the "Sixth Pilgrimage" who are working in concert with corporate industrialists in an effort to strip the distant past Earth of its resources and send them back to 2149. It is later revealed that Commander Taylor is hiding a controversy about the nature of the colony. This issue involves his son and wife (deceased), and would explain the Sixers' opposition. Though Taylor claims his son, Lucas, to have perished, he was revealed to be alive and also be a Sixer ally. Leaving clues and drawings behind in a way that mocks his father, the "Sixers" plan attacks on the Terra Nova colony and participate in an ongoing war between the two groups. This leads up to the point where Lucas perfects a device to travel to and from the future enabling the industrialists, along with a private army called "The Phoenix Group", to invade Terra Nova. At the end of the series, Jim Shannon travels back to 2149 to destroy the gateway that controls the portal, severing the link with the Cretaceous. The remainder of the Phoenix Group retreat to the nearby "Badlands", leaving behind a relic from human history they had found there: a wooden ship's figurehead.
• In the year 2149 the world is dying.  The planet is overdeveloped, overcrowded and overpolluted.  With the majority of plant and animal life extinct, devotion to science has brought mankind to the brink of destruction, but has also provided its only hope for salvation.  Knowing there is no way to reverse the damage to the planet, a coalition of scientists has managed to open up a fracture in the space-time continuum, creating a portal to prehistoric Earth.  This doorway leads to an amazing world, one that allows for a last-ditch effort to save the human race… possibly changing the future by correcting the mistakes of the past.The series centers on the Shannon family as they join the tenth pilgrimage of settlers to TERRA NOVA, the first colony of humans in this second chance for civilization.JIM SHANNON a devoted father with a checkered past, guides his family through this new land of limitless beauty, mystery and terror.  Jim’s wife, ELISABETH SHANNON, is a trauma surgeon chosen through a global lottery as a new addition to Terra Nova’s medical team.  JOSH SHANNON is their son, mourning the girl he left behind, as he’s torn between two role models – his father and the charismatic COMMANDER FRANK TAYLOR, the leader of the settlement, and the heroic first pioneer through the time portal.  MADDY SHANNON, Jim and Elizabeth’s teen daughter, is as independent and adventurous as her parents, but her distrust of authority soon leads her on a dangerous path.In addition to blue skies, rolling rivers, and lush vegetation, TERRA NOVA offers new opportunities and fresh beginnings to its recent arrivals, but the Shannons have brought with them a familial secret that may threaten their citizen ship in this utopia.  Additionally these adventurers soon discover that this healthy, vibrant world is not as idyllic as it initially appears.  The areas surrounding Terra Nova are filled with dangerous dinosaurs, and other prehistoric threats, as well as external forces that may be intent on destroying this new world before it begins.But perhaps even more threatening than what lies outside the protective walls is the Shannons’ realization that something sinister may be happening inside TERRA NOVA as not everyone on this mission has the same intentions of how to best save mankind.

Terra Nova

Το Terra Nova ακολουθεί μια συνηθισμένη οικογένεια σε ένα απίθανο ταξίδι πίσω στο χρόνο στην προϊστορική Γη σαν ένα μικρό κομμάτι ενός τολμηρού πειράματος για να σωθεί το ανθρώπινο γένος.

Επίσης, ενα καλά  κρυμμένο μυστικό της οικογένεια Σάνον που αφορά την 5χρονη κόρη τους Ζόι, σύντομα θα θέσει σε κίνδυνο  την ουτοπία που έχουν φτιάξει.
